Prices

We generally charge per line of text (target text). A standard line comprises 55 characters, including blank spaces. If you wish, we can also give you a quotation based on the number of words instead.

The price per standard line/per word will take into account the following criteria:

• Type of text (specialised or general)
• Length (very short or very long)
• Source and target language/s
• Purpose (e.g. for publication)
• Delivery time
• Additional services (preparation, post-processing, conversion, desk-top publishing etc.)

We set minimum charges for small jobs (up to approx 20 lines).

For interpreting services we charge on an hourly or daily basis. Expenses are charged to the customer separately.
